23、k shall be capable of wiibtanding the following conditions without detrimental effect to subsequent operation: a. Type MC-1 - Teniperatures raging frcm -20 F without benefit of sol= radiation up to +12s0 F even though exposed to maxim solar miation. bo Type AF/S32H-1 - Temperatures ranging frm -65“

24、F without benefit of solar radiation up to +125O F even though exposed to maxinaim solar radiation. 3.603 ROAD PERFORMANCE.- When uniformly loaded to rated capaciw and with the truck bed in the lowered position, the truck skll be capable of satisfactory operation over unimproved roads (see 6.3.1) at

25、 an ovemge speed of 20 mph and over improved roads (see 6.3.2) at an average speed of 35 mph. The truck shall be capable of reaching a maximm speed of at least 45 mph. 3.7 CHASSIS AND CAB.- The chassis and cab slxll conform ta KKK-T-701 except as specified herein. 3.7.1 GEXJEML.= The chassis shall b

26、e 6-wheel, 4-rear-wheel 3.7.2 I?FW.IE.- The height of the chassis frame shall not exceed drive, steered by the two front wheels. the value necessary to provide the lowered truck-bed height specified in 3.11.2. The frme shall be constructed to withstand the severe concentrated loadings imposed by the

27、 high-lift mechmism. 3.7.3 CAB-TO-AXLE DIviENSION.- The cab-to-de dimension shall be not less than 96 nor more than 108 inches. 3.7.1i FUEL TANK.- The fuel tank shall kve a minimum capacity of 30 U. S. gallons and shall be of the manufacturers stanclard design. 3.7.5 TRANSIVIESION SPEEDS 00 psi, The

A safety device to prevent sudden lowering of the tmck bed when hydraulic pressure is accidentally cut off through failure of the engine, pump, or other hydraulic components. b. 1, safety device to insure that the power takeoff is not enga

The controls shall provide infinitzly .variable lifting and lotrering speeds between the limits sp

40、ecified in 3.10.2.1 and, upon release of applied force by the operator, shall stop and hold the tnick bed at any point within thg lifting and lowering ranges. The controls shall be so designed that, after engaging th power takeoff, one operator can nin the lift mechanism through at least two raisirl

41、g-ai-liing cycles without leaving the outside control location.
