12、ents for agricultural scraper tractors as defined in ASAE S390, when used in construction environments, as defined in ISO 6165. 1.2 This standard does not apply to agricultural tractors used in traditional agricultural applications, such as land leveling. 1.3 Agricultural scraper tractors that meet

19、ractor (ATR): see ANSI/ASAE S390 3.3 towed scraper: see ISO 6165 4 General Requirements Except as noted elsewhere in this document, agricultural scraper tractors shall comply with the requirements of ANSI/ASAE S318. In the event of conflicting requirements, the requirements of this standard shall ta

20、ke precedence. 5 Protective Structures 5.1 Roll over protective structures (ROPS) shall be in accordance with ISO 3471. 5.1.1 Category three of ISO 3471, wheeled earth-moving machine: loader, tractor-dozer, pipe layer, landfill compactor, skid-steer loader, backhoe loader and trencher type, shall be

21、 used for force and energy calculations. 5.1.2 The mass used need not include the mass of the towed scraper or payload; however, it shall include the agricultural scraper tractor, fuel, operator, and ballast. 5.2 Agricultural scraper tractors intended for use in applications where a risk of falling

22、objects are present shall be equipped with a FOPS meeting the requirements of SAE J167, ISO 3449 level I, or ISO 3449 level II, as appropriate to the application. 6 Operator Station 6.1 Location, movement, and identification of operator controls shall be in accordance with ASABE/ISO 15077. 6.2 Seat

23、belts and anchorages meeting the requirements of SAE J386 shall be provided. ANSI/ASABE S602.2 MAY2015 Copyright American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers 3 7 Braking System 7.1 Agricultural scraper tractors shall comply with the requirements of ASAE S365. 7.2 The agricultural scrape

24、r tractor shall support hydraulic trailer brakes. Brake couplings between the agricultural scraper tractor and the towed scraper shall comply with ISO 5676. 7.3 Reaction time of hydraulic trailer brake system on agricultural scraper tractors test procedure and acceptance criteria 7.3.1 The agricultu

25、ral scraper tractor engine shall be running at 66% of the rated speed, and the hydraulic oil temperature shall be stabilized according to the manufacturers specifications. 7.3.2 The pressure shall be measured using accumulators connected to the control line coupling on the agricultural scraper tract

26、or (see Figure 1). The accumulator and pipe shall be filled with oil prior to testing. An accumulator with a volume of 0.27 liters with a pre-charged pressure of 4.0 MPa shall be used to simulate a scraper brake system. NOTE: This volume is intended to simulate 3 towed scrapers. 28、ication. 7.3.3.1 Use the measurement point that is furthest away from the coupler (see figure 1). 7.3.4 At the coupling head, the flow shall be at least 54 l/min at 4.0 MPa. 7.3.5 The agricultural scraper tractor shall generate 10 MPa of pressure at the hydraulic trailer brake coupler when 400 to 55

29、0 N of pedal force is applied. 8 Lighting and Marking System 8.1 Lighting and marking shall meet the requirements of ANSI/ASAE S279. 8.2 Stop lamps meeting the requirements of ANSI/ASAE S279 clauses 4.1.6.1 to 4.1.6.5 shall be provided regardless of maximum speed. 9 Alarms 9.1 An audible backup alar

30、m in compliance with SAE J994 shall be provided. 10 Transportation 10.1 Lift and tie down devices shall be in accordance with ISO/FDIS 15818. 10.1.1 At least four tie downs shall be provided to enable restraint in the lateral, forward, rearward, and vertical directions. 10.1.2 Tie downs shall be aff

31、ixed as close as practicable to the front and rear of the vehicle, or mounting points on the vehicle that have been specifically designed for that purpose. 10.2 Provisions for auxiliary attaching systems, as specified in ANSI/ ASAE S318, clause 8.5, need not be provided for use with towed scrapers.
