ANSI ASTM E2750-2017 Standard Guide for Extension of Data from Penetration Firestop System Tests Conducted in Accordance with ASTM E814.pdf

1、Designation: E2750 17 An American National StandardStandard Guide forExtension of Data from Penetration Firestop System TestsConducted in Accordance with ASTM E8141This standard is issued under the fixed designation E2750; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforigina

2、l adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This guide covers the extension of results obtained fromfire tests

3、 performed in accordance with Test Method E814 toapplications that have not been tested. Test Method E814evaluates the duration for which test specimens will contain afire, retain their integrity, or both during a predetermined firetest exposure. Firestops are intended for use in fire-resistivewalls

4、 and floors that are evaluated in conformance with TestMethod E119.NOTE 1Data obtained from firestops tested in accordance with TestMethods E119 with positive pressure can also be used.1.2 This guide is based on principles involving the exten-sion of test data using simple considerations. The accept

Differencesbetween the tested assembly and

Substitution of differenttest conditions also impacts the fire-test-response characteris-tics.4.5 The extension of data is valid only for the fire testexposure described in Test Method E814.4.6 This guide shall not be used to extrap
