2、of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method covers the procedures for determiningthe capability of climbing and ladder treestands and tripods

3、towithstand repeated loading relative to the manufacturers ratedcapacity.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.3 This sta

Summary of Test Method4.1 A treestand is mounted so that its platform is perpen-dicular to a rigid wood or metal pole when the rate loadc

In the case of a ladder treestand or tripod, the load isapplied to the rungs of the ladder or tripod. The t

Testing onladder and tripod stands shall be performed on one step withthe test subject assembled and in-place against the test pole(when applicab

The step shall be chosen at a locationapproximately two-thirds of the total assembled vertical height. For ladder treestands and tripods capable of supporting twopersons, the number of repetitive loading cycles shall be thenumber of steps multiplied by 1000 to account for two personsclimbing.7.7

33、 Periodic checks at the end of each 3000 cycles shall bemade and a note shall be made if the test subject, or loadapplication apparatus, moves (shifts) from its initial equilib-rium position on the mounting pile, whether the test subjectcontinues to support the applied load, and in general whetheran
