This report is a total replacement of all previous versions of T1 TechnicalReport No. 5. Included in this catalog are those connector configur

7、ations that are specified by theFederal Communications Commission, carrier technical references, and ANSI approved standards.This catalog is intended to be a living document, subject to revision and updating as warranted bythe introduction of new connectors and wiring configurations.Adherence to thi

8、s catalog should provide interface compatibility in most installations, but thecatalog does not guarantee compatibility or acceptable performance. 17、the Network and Customer Installation (CI) Interface and for those connectors used within the CIto connect customer premises equipment to customer premises equipment, and customer premisesequipment to customer premises wiring. Because of the changing environment and theintroduction of new technology

18、, this document will be a living document with periodic revisionsissued by Committee T1.This technical report also provides examples of the Facility Interface Codes (FIC) and theNetwork Channel Interface (NCI) codes that are commonly associated with the connectorconfigurations. Additional codes that

19、 are utilized with these connectors can be obtained fromlocal exchange carrier interface documentation.This technical report contains connector configurations currently in Subpart F of Part 68 of theFCC rules and regulations. Standard connector configurations utilized for services, not includedunder

20、 the scope of Part 68, are also included. New connector configurations may be consideredfor addition to this technical report by submitting the requirements and the accompanyingrationale to Technical Subcommittee T1E1.2.
