TEST DETAILS 6.1 Closing Force Test 6.1.1 Prior to the start of the cycle test 6.2, draw a line on the
14、floor parallel to the door in the 45 degree + 2 degrees open position. 6.1.2 Conduct the closing force test at the beginning of the cycle test. Test: Open the door to the 45 degree mark on the floor, and position the force gage to contact the door at 30 inches (762 mm) from the pivot axis. 6.1.3 In
15、the case of spring hinges, the manufacturer shall elect to achieve the required closing force with a minimum of two or all three of the hinges being tested and shall clearly indicate the number of hinges required to be tensioned to meet the value specified. 6.2 Cycle Test 6.2.1 Mount hinges or pivot
16、s in accordance with 4.1 and 4.2 and set closing force of adjustable hinges or pivots in accordance with 5.2. 6.2.2 Mechanically open the door to 90 degrees + 5 degrees and release, allowing the hinges or pivots to completely close the door within 5 degrees of the normal closed position. One opening
17、 and closing constitutes one cycle. Repeat for the required number of cycles as given in 5.3.1. Cycles per minute shall be a maximum of 20. 6.2.3 Double acting hinges or pivots shall be cycled in each direction. Alternately cycling the test door in one direction and then the other for the required n
18、umber of cycles shall be permitted. Cycling the door for 25,000 times in one direction and then 25,000 times in the other for the required number of cycles given in 5.3.1 shall be permitted. 20、e taken at the same door position as initial measurements made at the start of the test. 6.3 Latch Test for Single Acting Doors 6.3.1 After the remeasurement in 6.2.4, release the door from 45 degrees open and measure the impact of the door at the 5 degree open position. The impact shall not be less
21、 than a 4.5 lbf (20 N) at a point where a latch is located. (See 4.3.2) 6.4 Static Load Test 6.4.1 Lateral change and deformation. At the conclusion of the latch test 6.3 and with the door in the 0 degree (closed) position, add and remove 150 lbs. (68 kg) at a point on the door at a horizontal dista
22、nce from the pivot axis equal to the test door width shown in 5.2.1. Lateral shift of the door leaf away from the jamb at top hinge shall not exceed .062 in (1.6 mm). Exception: Double acting spring hinges and pivots are not subject to this test. 6.5 Finish Tests 6.5.1 Salt Spray Test. This test sha
