41、m conductors4.1.2.1 In Mexico, aluminum conductors shall be AA 8000 series alloy or 1350 aluminum alloy.In Canada and the United States, aluminum conductors shall only be of aluminum conductor material(ACM), AA 8000 series alloy.Annex C provides the chemical composition of recognized aluminum alloy

44、nductors or the individual wires ofstranded conductors prior to stranding. If the insulation adjacent to a copper conductor is of a material thatcorrodes unprotected copper, as determined by the requirement in Clause 5.7, or if a protective separatorin compliance with Clause 4.1.8 is not provided, t

Conductors coated with other metals or alloys shall be subjected to specialinvestigation.Note: In Mexico, the use of ASTM B355 is recommended for nick
