AL-PA hex 00 shall be assi

Additional FL-Ports may be present, but they shall be in the Non-Participating or Non-Participating Bypassed mode. NOTE - Adding a new FL-Port to a loop with

46、 an existing FL-Port, may cause the access to the ports on that loop to change to the new FL-Port and the fabric that it is a part of, including possible changes in address for the ports on the loop. If the fabric that the two FL-Ports are part of is not the same, this may impact access to the ports

47、 on the loop from the fabric. If there is no Participating FL-Port on the Loop, a Participating NL-Port may accept this value as an alias AL-PA for its LPSM, but not as its only AL-PA. hex 01 through hex EF: (126) AL-PA for NL-Ports Descending priority is assigned as AL-PA values increase in the ran

48、ge from hex 01 through hex EF. All valid values in this range are lower in priority than hex 00. Each Participating NL-Port shall be assigned one valid AL-PA in this range. The maximum number of Participating NL-Ports on a single Loop shall not exceed 126. 5.1.2 Special AL-PAS and flags The followin

49、g special AL-PAs and flags are assigned to the last 7 neutral disparity values from table 1. These values replace an AL-PA to provide special functions: hex FO: (1) Value used in ARB for fairness and during Loop Initialization. Value hex FO is the next lower priority outside the range hex 00 through hex EF. hex FI through hex F6: (O) Reserved hex F7: (1) Value used in LIP to indicate that the L-Port is initializing and also a value for an L-Port which does not have an AL-PA. hex F8: (1) Value used in LIP to
