19、sten Halogen Lamp Base: G6.35, GX6.35, GY6.35 Two-Pin Light Center Length: 27.0mm - 40.0mm 1 Scope This standard defines the dimensional limits and other physical characteristics required to ensure the interchangeability and to assist in the proper application of a specific category of lamps. This c

20、ategory is tungsten-halogen lamps with G6.35, GX6.35 and GY6.35 two-pin bases and 27.0 to 40mm nominal light center length. Lamps of various design voltages are included. Lamps with the specifications listed in this standard are intended for projector applications. The grouping of lamps in this stan

Only those dimensions essential to interchangeabil

A typical bulb is shown. 4.4.2 The light source dimensions, (W), (H), and (T) of Tables 1, 2 & 3, define a vo

Actual filament size may be significantly smaller than the defined light source volume. 4.5 Marking Projection lamps conforming

32、to this standard should be identified with a three- letter code in conformance with the American National Standard Method for the Designation of Photo Lamps, ANSI C78.370. 5 Restrictions 5.1 Operating Position Lamp types in this standard may operate properly in any position or they may have certain

33、restrictions. Such restrictions are indicated in the Operation Position columns of Tables 1,2 & 3. 5.2 Seal Temperature In the lamps covered by this standard, the metal-to-envelope seal is intended for operation at a temperature of 4OO0C maximum for lamps with a rated life up to 500 hours and a maxi

34、mum of 350C for lamps with a rated life greater than 500 hours. 5.3 Bulb Wall Temperature A lamps bulb wall temperature shall be maintained above 25OoC for proper operation of the halogen cycle. The upper limit is approximately 900C. To avoid high temperatures, a cooling system should be used. Copyr

Cons

Therefore, a suitable protective shield, screening technique, or both, shall be used with the luminaire to protect people and surroundings from both hazards. (2) Always read and observe the information

38、contained in the lamp manufacturers caution notice. 6 Test Procedures 6.1 Life Lamps shall be tested in open racks in the base-down or horizontal operating position with cooling to maintain temperature limits. Additional procedures are defined in ANSI C78.1450. 6.2 Seal (Pinch) Temperature The measu
