6、ethod, the user must determine whether any of the chemicals to be used or disposed of are potentially hazardous and, if so, must follow strictly the procedures specified by both the manufacturer, as well as local, state, and federal authorities for safe use and disposal of these chemicals. 7、itions for fiber glass mat test methods 1. ScopeThis practice defines the preconditioning and test conditions for testing fiber glass mats. 2. Significance Mat characteristics are sensitive to changes in ambient conditions; therefore, preconditioning and test conditions are defined to facilitate com
8、parison of results between different laboratories. 3. General preconditioning and test conditions Under normal conditions, specimens may be preconditioned and tested at ambient laboratory conditions within the temperature range of 65 to 80F (18 to 27C) and a relative humidity range of 30 to 75%, exc
9、ept as specifically noted in the individual test method. Test specimens should be preconditioned for four hours minimum at the ambient conditions prior to testing. 4. Referee test conditions For referee testing, the general test conditions should be as noted in the individual test method or, 77 2F (
10、25 1C) and 50 3% relative humidity. Test specimens should be preconditioned for four hours minimum prior to testing. 5. Alternate conditions Other test conditions may be employed if agreed upon by both buyer and seller. 6. Report Report that the preconditioning and test conditions specified in this
11、practice were employed in the generation of the test results, or, if different conditions were employed, report the conditions and the reason for the deviation.
