17、This document defines the minimum performance requirements for the 136HS/EGPRS-3136 200 kHz (outdoor) and 1.6 MHz (indoor) digital mobile station (MS) and base station4(BS) transceivers, operating in the 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1900 MHz and IMT-2000 band5(defined in 136-110).67The 200 kHz channel radio re

18、quirements are defined in GSM Release-99 specifications8which form (by way of reference) an integral part of this document. These (GSM)9specifications were developed by ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards10Institute) with the assistance of UWCC (Universal Wireless Communications11Consortium)

19、 member companies. These referenced publications are freely available at12http:/www.etsi.org.1314GSM 05.05 includes channel definitions and RF minimum performance specification. It15also defines requirements specific to so-called Mixed Mode systems, designated MXM-16850 and MXM-1900 in GSM 05.05. Th

20、e term Mixed-Mode refers to radio systems17operating in a mixed RF environment consisting of ANSI-136 30 kHz transceivers and18200 kHz EDGE/GSM transceivers. 40、ze and of low complexity to allow1outdoor deployment in large numbers. Because of these differences, the2micro-BTS needs a different set of RF parameters to be specified. Where the RF3parameters are not different for the micro-BTS the normal BTS parameters shall4apply.56The pico-BTS is an extension

41、of the micro-BTS concept to the indoor environments.
