Members of the committees serve voluntarily and without commission. The companies that they represent are not necessari-ly

This Addendum has been prepared by the TR-42.9 subcommittee and approved by TR-42.9 and the TR-42 Engineering Committee and the American National

ANSI/TIA-1005-A-1 1 1 SCOPE This Addendum specifies the electrical and mechanical requirements for an M12-8 X-Coding connector with Category 6A performance. 2 NORMATIVE REFERENCES The following standards contain provisions which, thr

32、iations from ANSI/TIA-1005-A apply to this Addendum. 4 INDUSTRIAL CONNECTING HARDWARE 4.1 General Connecting hardware shall conform to ANSI/TIA-568-C.0, unless otherwise specified in this Standard. 4.2 Telecommunications outlet (TO) Connecting hardware used for balanced twisted-pair cabling within T

33、Os serving automation is-lands (into and within) shall use one of the following: Eight-position modular connector as specified in ANSI/TIA-568-C.2. Two-pair M12-4 D-Coding connector as specified in ANSI/TIA-1005-A Four-pair M12-8 X-Coding as specified in 4.2.1 4.2.1 Four-pair M12-8 X-Coding connecto

34、r M12-8 X-Coding connector as specified in IEC 61076-2-109 may be used. This connector shall meet or exceed the category 6A performance as specified in IEC 61076-2-109 when tested in accordance with IEC 60512-29-100. M12-8 X-Coding is sealed by design.
