SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 1.1 Description. The candleight

2、er shall be an approximately 16- to 18-inch long by 1/8-inch diameter, white, waxed wick taper. dripless when held in any position or at any angle from vertical to horizontal and shall fully burn without unraveling, excessive smoking, or objectionable odor. The taper shall be fringed 1/2 inch from o

3、ne end to permit ease in the initial lighting. The taper shall burn 2. QUALITY ASSURANCE 2.1 Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characterisitics of this description and conforms to the producers own specifications, standards, and quality assurance

When specific quality assurance provisions are specified for any commercial characteristic, the contractor shall furnish data resulting from inspection conducted in accordance with the specific quality assurance provisions. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such confor

5、mance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. 3.
