The material shall conform to the referenced specifications and the requirements specified h

8、erein. 3.2.1 Vinyl film. The film for the case shall be a colorless, flexible vinyl film conforming to type I, class 1 of L-P-375, except the resistance to accelerated weathering exposure shall be 40 hours and the requirement for the following characteristics shall not apply: stiffness, extraction i

9、n soapy water, volatility and lacquer lifting. finish on both faces and shall be 0.012 - + .O01 inch thick. Construction. The flag cases shall conform to the details and dimensions shown on drawing 5-1-451 and the requ

11、irements specified herein. 3.3.1 -Case. front and back panels shall be heat seaie (flat seam) along two sides with a 3/8 + 1/16 inch wide heat seal set in 1/4 inch from the edge, or the front and back-panels may be heat sealed along two sides with a 1/8 inch minimum width heat seal with or without a

12、 rolled edge. The top of the back panel shall be folded upon itself to the inside with the cut edge turned under not less than 1/16 inch to form a hem and heat sealed. The finished width of the heat seal shall be 13/16 1/8 inch. The case shall be fabricated from vinyl specified in 3.2.1 and the - 2

Unless otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Excep

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set for

When a first article is required, inspection and testing of the first article shall be made on three completely finished cases for all

Flag cases shall be packaged to afford adequate protection againstcleterioration and damage during shipment from the supply source to the first receiving activity. The supplier may use

38、 his standard practice when it meets these requirements. 5.2 Packing. Packing shall be level A, B or C as specified (see 6.2). 5.2.1 Level A, Cases packaged as specified in 5.1, shall be packed in a snug-fitting fiberboard shipping container conforming to class weather resistant, type V3c or V3s of

39、PPP-B-636. Closure shall be in accordance with the appendix of the applicable container specification. 5.2.2 Level B. Flag cases packaged as specified in 5.1, shall be packed in a snug-fitting fiberboard shipping container conforming to class Domestic, grade 275 of PPP-B-636. container specification
