The rayon or cotton yarns used in component par.Zs of the cord and tassels shall be dyed, yarns, the cotton and rayon yarns shall match for color. Each color shal

15、l match the cable number as specified in table I, -The use of sulfur dyesand dyes containing elementary sulfur or compounds capable of oxidation to sul- uric acid is prohibited. the dyed yarn shall show no more free or sulfide sulfur than the standard sample when tested as specified in 4.4.1. 17、ices3.5.1 Jlatch iiig. - Thc colm shall match the approved standard shade under natural (north sky) dayli4ht or artificial daylight having u color tem- perature o 7300 degrees Kelvin and shall be good approximalion to the standard shade under incandescent lampliyht at 2800 degrees Kelvin. 3.5.2 Colo

18、rfastness.- The dyed material shall show fastness to wet- dry cleaning, crocking and light equal to or better than the standard sample.- When standard coior samples have not been established the dyed material shall show good fastness to wet-dry cleaning, crocking and light. 3.6 Construction.- 3.6.1

19、Cords.- The finished cord shall be not less than 1/4 greater than 5/16 inch in diameter, and shall have a minimum of o twist per inch. Each strand shall have 40 ends of 12/2 cotton thread as a core and machine wound with 15 ends or hand wound with 6 ends of 300 denier rayon. colors are nsed there sh

Toward the end of a contract or where there are less than the required amount of one class to fill a shipping
