11、ification and the references cited herein, the text of this specification shall take precedence. 3 . REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials. Materials shall be in accordance applicable drawings and specifications. with the 3.2 Parts. The parts shall comply with all requ rements specified on drawings 9387148, 93

13、ta requirements. The contractor shall generate data in accordance with requirements of data item description cited in 6.4. 3.4 First article inspection. This specification contains technical provisions for first article inspection. Requirements for the submission of first article samples by the cont
14、ractor shall be as specified in the contract. - 3.5 Process control 3.5.1 Process documentation. Concurrent with submission of the First Article Sample (see paragraph 4.31, the contractor shall submit a written description of the heat treatment process used to produce the samples together with the m
15、eans by which the process can be verified in production. The method of verification shall be reviewed by and must be acceptable to the government. See Data Item Description DI-P-1604 (Tailored) . Proposed changes to the process which produced the accepted First Article Sample shall be submitted to t
16、he government prior to actual implementation of the change. A new First Article Sample will be required for each process change. 3.5.2 Liner traceability. The contractor shall also submit a method to establish liner traceability with specific annealed batches. This information shall be furnished as
17、a part of DI-P-1604 (Tailored) above and shall be reviewed by and must be acceptable to the government. 3.6 Workmanshig. All parts shall be fabricated in a thorough workmanlike manner. The parts shall be free of burrs, chips, sharp edges, cracks, unblended radii, dents, tool marks, chipped edges, po
18、rosity, warpage, gouges, surface defects dirt, grease, corrosion products, burn marks and other foreign matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any of the parts nor shall the parts be contaminated by the cleaning agents. Surface coatings shall be continuous except for scratches no
19、t exposing base metal. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection and standard quality assurance provision. Unless otherwise specified herein or in the contract, the provisions of MIL-A-48078 shall apply and are hereby made a part of this detailed specification. First article
