19、emption has been obtained, 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 DescriDtion. The portable conveyor is a continuous belt type with steel sl ider pl ates ,. el ectri c-motor-driven i tem used to move materi al s horizontally or up an incline. a belt width of 18 inches and shall weigh not more than 500 pounds, than 45

22、standard product of the contractor. The conveyor belt shall be new and unused except to the extent required to perform the tests specified herein . 3.2.1 Certification of commercial item. When specified (see 6.2), the contractor shall certify that the product offered to the Government meets the sali

23、ent characteristics of this conveyor belt and that the product conforms to the contractors own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices and is the same product as the manufacturers current product which is offered by the contractor in the commercial marketplace for at lea

24、st one year preceding the solicitation. right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. Dissimilar metals shall not be used in intimate contact with each other unless protected against galvanic

The contractor shall identify the specific material, ma

33、terial finish or treatment for use with component and subcomponent, and shall make information avail able upon request to the contracting officer or designated representative. Drain holes shall be provided to prevent collection or entrapment of water or unwanted fluids. 3.4.4 Drain holes. 3.5 Safetv

The conveyor shall be equipped with an electric motor, a system of electric wiring and controls and a power supply cable.
