REQUIREMENTS I with Drawing F8614057 and drawings pertaining thereto. 3.2 General specification.- The contractor shall be responsible for adherence to the following requirements of MIL-F-13926: (a) Order of precedence (b) Dimensions and tolerances (c) Inorganic protective

7、surface inishes (d) Part identification and marking (e) Workmanship 3.3.1 Standard ambient temperature.- The case shall meet the re- quirements of 3.4 to 3.7.2 inclusive at a standard ambient temperature be- tween +60 and +90 Fahrenheit (F). 3.3.2 Extreme operating temperatures.- The case shall meet

8、 the requirements of 3.6 to 3.7.2 inclusive while exposed to, and thermally stabilized at, ambient temperatures of -40 and +150F. 3.4 Shock.- The case shall meet this requirement with the cover closed and the catches in the locked position. With a dumy load con- tained within it to simulate the fuze

9、 setter set in weight and distri- bution, the case shall be capable of sustaining two drops onto a concrete floor from a height of 36 inches. One drop shall be on a corner of the body; the other drop shall be on a corner of the cover. the two drops, the case shall show no evidence of damage which wi

10、ll affect its operability, and the case shall meet the requirements of 3.5 to 3.7.2 inclusive. I Subsequent to 3.5 Sealing.- The closed and locked case shall meet the immersion requirement specified in MIL-C-4150. I 3.6 Inserts.- The inserts shall be securely bonded to the cover or body, as applicab

11、le, and shall show no evidence of looseness. 3.7 Operability. 3.7.1 Cover.- With the case unlocked, it shall be possible to I open and close the cover easily without restriction or binding. 3.7.2 Catches.- The catches shall function without interference and, when secured, they shall lock the cover t

12、o the body and show no evi- dence of looseness. f-? QTIALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspectioil. - Unless otherwise spec

13、ified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the per- formance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The Government re- serv

14、es the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the speci- fication where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 General provisions.- The component inspection require- ments of MIL-F-13926 form a part of the quality

15、 assurance provisions of this specification. Definitions of inspection terms shall be as listed in MIL-STD-109. 4.2 Inspection provisions. 4.2.1 Submission of product.- Cnless otherwise specified by the contracting officer, inspection lot size, formation, and presentation of lots shall be in accorda

16、nce with “Submission of Product“ as specified in MIL-STD-105. 4.2.2 Examination and tests. - Components and subassemblies shall be inspected in accordance with the inspection provisions contained in MIL-F-13926. Examinations and tests related to Section 3 herein shall be performed on a defect (indiv

17、idual characteristic) basis in accordance with the “Classification of Defects“ specified in Table I below and the inspection level and sampling plans specified in MIL-STD-105. Examina- tions and tests for packaging, packinaand marking shall be in accordance with MIL-P-14232 and Section 5 herein. The

18、 tabulated classification of defects shall constitute the minimum inspection to be performed by the supplier prior to Government acceptance or rejection by lot. The Govern- ment reserves the right to inspect for any applicable requirement, and to reject individual non-conforming items. TABLE I - CLA

19、SSIFICATION OF DEFECTS REQUIREMENTS TEST PROCEDURES CRITICAL : NONE M shall be so selected and controlled as to in- sure that the test equipment will reliably indicate acceptability of a product which does not exceed 90% of the prescribed tolerance limit, and permit positive rejection when non-confo

20、rming. Construction shall be such as to facilitate routine calibration of test equipment. 4.5 Test methods and procedures. 4.5.1 Environmental. 4.5.1.1 Operating temperatures.- The operating temperature test consists of exposing the case to the temperatures indicated in 3.3.2 by means of equipment c

21、omplying with the requirements specified under “Test facilities“ outlined in MIL-F-13926. The test shall be conducted in accordance with Procedure II of MIL-F-13926, and the temperatures speci- fied in 3.3.2 shall apply. idhile thermally stabilized at these tempera- tures, the case shall meet the pe

22、rformance requirements specified in 3.3.2. 4.5.1.2 Shock.- The case, with a dummy load, shall be dropped on the specified corners and from the height specified in 3.4. Upon com- pletion of each of the drops, the case and inserts shall be examined for evidence of damage or looseness and shall then me

23、et the performance re- quirements specified in 3.5 to 3.7.2 as required by 3.4. 4.5.1.3 Water immersion.- This test shall be accomplished in accordance with Test Procedures in MIL-C-4150 to determine compliance with 3.5. 4.5.2 Inserts.- Inserts shall be examined by tactile and visual means to determ
