1、MIL-C-60458 (AR) Amendment 1 15 September 1981 MILITARY SPECIFICATION CARTRIDGE, 105MM, HE, ROCKET ASSISTED, XM548, DELAY ASSEMBLY FOR This amendment forms a part of Military Sepcification MIL-C-60458 (MU), dated 27 October 1967, and is approved for use by the US Army Armament Research and Developme

2、nt Command, Department of the Army and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. PAGE 1 Add the following preamble underneath the title: “This specification is approved by the U.S. Army Armament Research and Development Command, and is available for use by al

14、ize. 4.3.3.6.1 Molybdenum Trioxide-Major defect - Code No. 09002. - A sample shall be selected from each lot of molybdenum trioxide and tested in accordance with MIL-STB- 1234. If the sample fails to meet the requirements of drawing 9212470 for particle size the lots shall be rejected. The tests sha

15、ll be conducted in accordance with 4.4.4.1. 4.3.3.6.2 Chromium Oxide - Major defect - Code No. 09003 -A sample shall be selected from each lot of chromium oxide and tested in accordance with MIL-STD-1234. If the sample fails to meet the requirements of drawing 9212469 for particle size the lot shall

16、 be rejected. The test shall be conductea in accordance with 4.4.4.2.“ PAGE 12 4.4.1.2.2, line 2: Delete “4.4.2.1“ and substitute l4. 4.1.2.1 . I 4.4.2: Delete first sentence and substitute the following: “After conditioning at 140F for 12 hours minimum, the delay assembly shall be assembled to the

17、required test equipment specified on the applicable equipment list .It 4.4.3: Delete in its entirety and substitute the following: “4.4.3 Determination of Moisture. The moisture content of the flash, delay, and igniter composition shall be determineu in accordance with Method 102.1 of MIL-STD-1234.“
