REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials. Materials and part
12、s shall be in accordance with applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Components. The components shall comply with all require- ments specified on drawings 12561551, 12561552, 12561553, 12561555, 12630919, 12630920, 12630931, 12630932 and the drawings and specification referenced thereon. 3.3 Wa
13、ter absorption. Water absorption of the polyethylene foam parts, at time of packing, shall not exceed 0.08 pounds per square foot of cut surface when tested in accordance with PPP-c-1752. 3.4 First article inspection. This specification contains technical provisions for first article inspection. Req
14、uirements for the submission of first article samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.5 Workmanship. The components shall be regular, smooth and free from any creases, wrinkles, cracks, rips, tears, dirt and any other defects which might offset the serviceability, durabili
15、ty, safety and appearance of the assembly. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection . Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise speci
16、fied in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the spec
17、ification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. Three samples per material lot shall be selected prior to start of production. If any sample fails to meet the requirements, the lot shall be rejected. 4.4.3.2 Density. Three sa
