REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Mate

9、rials. Materials shall be in accordance with the applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Transfer lead assembly. The transfer lead assembly shall comply with all requirements specified on drawing (dwg.) 9366678, all associated drawings, and with all requirements specified in applicable specifica

10、tions. 3.3 Transfer lead assembly output. The transfer lead assembly shall when initiated must produce a minimum dent of .O09 inch and a minimum average dent of .O13 inch in the witness plate (6061-T6 aluminum plate with 1/4 inch minimum thickness). i r 3.4 Transfer lead assembly functioninq. The tr

11、ansfer lead assembly shall function the lead cup assembly high order as - - evidenced by detonation of the lead-cup. 3.5 Temperature conditioning and functioning of transfer lead assembly . 3.5.1 Hot temperature. The transfer lead assembly shall function the lead cup assembly high order as specified

12、 in 3.4 after conditioning (4 hrs. min.) at 156 - + SF and tested at a temperature of 125 - + S0F. 3.5.2 Cold temperature. The transfer lead assembly shall function the lead cup assembly high order as specified in 3.4 after conditioning at -40 - + 50F and tested at a temperature of -25 4- 50F. - 3.6

13、 Waterproofness test of transfer lead assembly. The transfer lead assembly shall be waterproof as evidenced by proper output after being immersed in water maintained at 70 + 1 degrees Fahrenheit (OF) at a depth of 2 inches minimum from the surface to the top of the assembly for a period of 40 hours

14、minimum. 3.7 First article inspection. This specification contains technical provisions for first article inspection. Requirements for the submission of first article samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.8 WorkmanshiE. All parts and assemblies shall be fabricated and fi

15、nished in a thorough, workmanlike manner. They shall be free of burrs, chips, sharp edges, cracks, unblended radii, surface defects, dirt, grease, rust, corrosion products, -and other oreign matter. The cleaning method used shall not be injurious to any parts, nor shall the parts be contaminated by

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS . 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase ord

17、er, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified here

18、in, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Responsibility for compliance. All items

19、must meet all requirements of sections 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification shall become a part of the contractors overall inspection system or quality program. inspection requirements in the specification shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of assuring that all

20、 products or supplies submitted to the Government for acceptance comply with all requirements of the contract. Sampling in quality conformance does not authorize submission of known defective material, either indicated or actual, nor does it commit the Government to acceptance of defective material.

21、 F 8 The absence of any 4.2 Classification of inspections. The following types of inspection shall be conducted on this item: a. First Article Inspection b. Inspection lots shall comply with the lot formation provisions of MIL-A-48078. In addition, inspection lots of transfer lead assemblies shall contain:

Testing is described in the First Article and Quality Conformance Inspection Tables. 4.4.4 Ins

34、pection equipment. The inspection equipment reauired to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is -described-in the “Paragraph Reference/Inspection Method“ column in the tables starting with Paragraph 4.4.2.1. The contractor shall submit for approval inspection equipment designs in acc

35、ordance with the terms of the contract. See MIL-A-48078. 4.5 Methods of inspection. 4.5.1 Dimensional control of stamped parts. In place of the fi I normal sampling associated with the Classification of Defects, and with the approval of the Contracting Officer, a sample of at least ten (10) parts sh

36、all be dimensionally inspected to qualify the tool used in the stamping process for use in production. In addition, a random sample of five (5) parts shall be selected from the last portion of each hours production for dimensional inspection as a control of the tool during production. If any defecti

37、ve parts are found during qualification of the tool, the tool producing the defective part shall not be used in product i on . x If any defective parts are found when inspection is performed for control of the tool, the tool producing the defective part shall be removed from production. Further, tha

38、t portion of production since the last tool control check shall be returned to the contractor for correct i ve act ion . All tools removed from production because of some fault, may, The contractor may request a change of after reworking, be returned to production providing they pass the qualificati

39、on test above. inspection frequency providing he presents objective evidence to the Contracting Officer to substantiate the request . 4.5.2 Moisture and volatiles content of explosive charge. The contractor shall provide adequate controls to insure compliance with the applicable requirements. The mo

40、siture and volatiles content of the explosive charge shall be determined at. the loading station at the time of loading. This determination shall be made at least once each four (4) hours of production. Sampling and testing of the explosive charge shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-650, Method 1015

41、. In addition, if the moisture and volatiles content fails to comply with the requirement specified on the applicable drawing and loading has not begun, the explosive charge material shall be rejected until corrective action has been taken as verified by repeating the moisture and volatiles content

42、determination. If loading has begun, lead cup assemblies loaded with the non-conforming explosive charge shall be rejected. 16 c. . 43、xplosive charge. A minimum of two (2) assemblies, representative of the transfer lead assemblies being processed, shall be loaded and the densities determined to qualify each press prior to its use in production. In addition, a sample of two (2) assemblies shall be processed during the last portion

44、of each one (i) hours production from each press and the density determined as a control of each press during production. o If any aefective assembly is found when inspection is performed for control of a press, the press producing the defective assembly shall be removed from production. Further, th

45、at portion of production since the last control check shall be a returned to the contractor for corrective action. All presses removed from production because of some fault, d may, after corrective action, be returned to production providing they pass the qualification test above. of the explosive c

46、harge b The following procedure shall be used to determine the density a. Weight empty lead cup (grams). b. Measure bottom thickness (inches) . c. Measure wall thickness (inches). d. Load cup. e. Weight loaded lead cup (grams) . f . Measure height to top of charge (inches) . g. Measure outside diame

47、ter of loaded lead cup (inches). h. Calculate weight of charge (e-a) (grams). i. Calculate height of charge (f-b) (inches) . j.
