13、 Product markng. - Marking for identification shall be in accordance with Drawing 8511745 and Standard MIL-STD-130. 3.9 Workmanship. - Component parts of the indicator panels There shall be no shall fit properly in their respective positions. cracks, breaks, chips, bends, burrs, loose solder, loose
14、attaching parts, loose electrical connections, or other defects that could adversely affect the suitability, use, or life of the indicator panel. The indicator panel shall be clean and free of oxidation, roughness, marks, scratches, foreign material, and discoloration. . , 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVI

Exc
16、ept as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own or any other inspection facilities and services acceptable to the Govern- ment. Inspection records of the examination and tests shall be kept complete and available to the Government as specified in the contract or order. The Government re
17、serves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to pre- scribed requirements. 4. 2 Preproduction sample. - Unless otherwise specified (see 6. 2) a preproduction sample composed of in
18、dicator panel(s) which have been manufactured under the same conditions as those proposed for subsequent units of product shall be submitted for Government approval. examinations and tests specified herein. the Government will perform the examinations and tests at the con- tractors plant, ments of t
19、his specification, it will be rejected and returned to the contractor. Prior to submitting another preproduction sample, the contractor shall furnish the Government full particulars concerning previous rejection and the action taken to correct the defects. Subse- quent units or lots will not be cons
20、idered for acceptance until approval of the preproduction sample has been obtained. 25、 For preservation, packaging, packing and marking. - Examination of preservation, packaging, packing and marking shall be conducted to determine compliance with the requirements of sec- tion 5. 4.4. 2 Acceptance testing. - Acceptance testing to determine . compliance with the following requirements

The Government inspector, when examining the contractor Is inspection equipment, will determine that the co
28、n- tractor has available, and utilizes correctly, gaging, measuring and test equipment of the required accuracy and precision, and that the instruments are of the proper type and range to make measurements within the required accuracy. The contractor shall have available a set of master gages, stand
29、ards, and appropriate instruments to conduct regularly scheduled calibrations of his inspection equipment. of such calibration shall be maintained by the contractor and made available for Government review. The calibration of gages, standards, and instruments will be checked periodically by authoriz

Records 4.5 Test methods and procedures. , 4.5.1 Isolation of ground circuits. - An open circuit of not less _. than 100 megohms shall exist between terminals J1-F and J2-G, (see 3.4. i). I. 1 Continuity check. - A continuity check shall be made between terminals J1-E and J2-G and between J1-E and Ji-F to insure that no short circuits exist prior to application of power as specified in 4.5. 2, 4.5. 2 Lamp circuit continuity. 32、ons speci- fied in table I shall be applied to the indicator panel one by one in the order listed until all have been applied, and shall then be removed in reverse order. The panel shall be observed during the test to deter- mine compliance with 3.4. 2. 4.5.3 Relay function and circuit continuity te

36、esistor R1 on the unit under test shall be turned to the extreme coukterclockwise position and the exterior variable resistor (R4) adjusted until the standard milliammeter (M2) indicates 15 milliamperes. While this condition is maintained the Missiles Prepared Meter and the .voltmeter (VM) shall be
37、observed to determine compliance with 3.4.4. 1. 4.5.4.2 Effect of variable resistor (Rl). Test set up and initial meter readings shall be as specified in 4.5.4.1. unit under test shall be turned slowly to the clockwise position and the Missiles Prepared Meter observed to determine compliance with 3.

39、l be immobilized in an exterior container conforming to class 3 of Federal Specification PPP-B-585, overseas type of PPP-B-601, or style 4, class 2 of PPP-B-621, as applicable. The containers shall be closed and strap- ped in accordance with the appendix of the applicable container speci- fication.
40、The gross weight shall not exceed ZOO pounds, 5.3.2 Level B. - A quantity of unit packages shall be immobilized in an exterior container conforming to class 1 of Federal Specification PPP-3-585, domestic type, PPP-B-591, domestic type, PPP-B-601, or style 4, class 1 of PPP-B-621. The gross weight sh
41、all not exceed 200 pounds. 5.3.3 Level C, - Packaged indicator panels shall be packed in a manner which will afford adequate protection against damage during direct shipment from the supply source to the first receiving activity. Containers shall comply with Uniform Freight Classification Rules and
42、Container Specifications for Rail Shipment, National Motor Freight Classification Rules and Container Specifications for Truck Shipments, or regulations of other carriers applicable to the mode of transportation. 5.4 Marking. - In addition to any special marking required by the contract or order, un
43、it packages and shipping containers shall be mark- ed in accordance with the requirements of Standard MiLeTD-129. z! 6.
