REQUIREMENTS I 3.1 Components. - The processing unit shall consist of the following compo- nents listed below, and the basic elements of these components, as described in the following paragraphs: Oce Processing Tank One Cover T

9、wo Film Spools 3.2 Materials: 3.2.1 Specifications and standards. - Specificatic. ta and standards for all niate- rials, parts, and Government certiCcation and approval of processes and equipment, which are not specifically designated herein and which are necessary for tlic execution of this specifi

10、cation, shall be selected in accordance with Bulletin No. 143, except .provided in the following paragraph. 3.2.1 Standard parts. - AN or MIL Standard parts shall be used wherever they are suitable for the purpoBe, and shall be identified by their part numlxrs. Coinmer- cial utility parts such as sc

11、rews, bolts, nuts, cotter pins, et cetera, may be used provided they have suitable properties and arc replaceable by the AN or MIL Standard parts without alteration, and provided the corresponding AN or ML numhers arc rcf- erenced on the drawings and in the parts lists. In applications for which no

12、suitable corresponding AN or MIL part is in effect on date of invitation for bids, commercial parts may be used provided they conform to all requirements of this specification. 3.2.2 Corrosion Resistant steel - Unless otherwise specified, all parts, includ- ing accessories, that come in contact with

13、 solutions, and all ball bearings subject to corrosion, and moving parts subject to wear shall be fabricated of corrosion-resistant steel as follows: 3.2.2.1 All parts subject to extreme corrosion ahall be made ofsteel conforming to Specification MIL-S-5059, composition SCR, of a hardness suitable f

14、or the part, with a No. 4 finish. . 15、in contact with solutions or fumes may be made of steel conforming to Specification MIL-$5059 Composition G. aluminum alloy conforming to Specification QQ-A-601. the processor that are subject to deterioration when exposed to climatic and environ- mental conditions likely to occur during service usa

16、ge, they shall be protected against such deterioration in a manner that will in no way prevent compliance with the per- formance requirements of this specification, The use of any protective coating that will crack, chip or scale with age or extremes of climatic and environmental conditiom shall be

17、avoided. 3.2.3 Aluminum alloy castings, - When used, such castings shall be made of 3.2.4 Protective treatment. - When materiais are used in the construction of i 3.2. 5 Fungus proof materials, - Materials which are not nutrients for fungi shall be uscd to the greatest extent practicable. PREPARATION FOR DEUVERY 6.1 General. - The requirements specified herein apply only to direct purchases 5.2 Preser

When plywood box is used, the plywood shall be Type B, Condition I. 5.4 Marking of shipments. - Interior packages and exterior shipping containers shall be marked in accordance with Standard MIL-STD-129.
