SCOPE 1.1 This specif.ication covers one type of electronic

7、 JI-C shall be 260 milli-amperes when the load and power are applied as specified. 3.3.2 Environmental. 3.3.2.1 Storage temperature.-The power supply unit shall meet the requirements of 3.3.1 at ambient temperature (+60O to +90F) after exposure and thermal stabilization at :8O0F and +160F. 3.3.2.2 O
8、perating temperatures.-The power supply unit shall meet the requirements of 3.3.1 while thermally stabilized at -4OOF and +125OF, subsequent to which it shall meet the above requixements at ambient temperature (+SOOF to +90F). 3 Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reproduction or networking permitted wi
9、thout license from IHS-,-,-3.3.2.3 Vibration.-The power supply unit shall show no physical failure and shall meet the requirements of 3.3.1 after being exposed to the following vibratory conditions: (a) Double 0.5 inch maximum (b) Acceleration 4g maximum (c) Crossover 12.5 Hertz (Hz) (d) Sweep time
10、Amp1 i tude frequency 5 to 500 to 5 Hz in 15 minutes. Two sweeps in each of the three mutually perpendicular axes. 3.3.2.4 Shock,-The power supply unit shall meet the requirements of 3.3.1 after being exposed to a total of six shock impulses, one in each direction of the three mutually perpendicular

Quality Conformance Inpsection 4.3.1 Submission.-The contractor shall submit a first : article sample as designated by the contracting officer for otherwise specified, the sam
17、ple for first article approval tests shall consist of three power supplies plus three each of all components and subassemblies. I specified in Tables II, III and IV herein. The Government components and subassemblies to any or all of the examinations and tests specified herein and to any or all requ
18、irements of the applicable drawings. 4.3.3 Rejection.-If any assembly, component or subassembly fails to comply with any of the applicable requirements, the first article sample shall be rejected, reserves the right to terminate its inspection upon any failure of an assembly, component, or subassemb
19、ly in the sample to comply with any of the stated requirements. 4.4 Quality Conformance Inspection I The Government by the contracting officer, inspection lot size, lot formation and presentation of lots shall be inaccordance with “Submission of Product“ provisions of MIL-STD-105. Classification of

24、t until necessary corrections have been made by the contractor and the resubmitted item has been approved (see 4.4.3). 4.5.4 Inspection Equipment.-Requirements for inspection equipment to perform examinations and tests are specified herein and in specific contract clauses as applicable. 25、6 of this specification for general provisions applicable to inspection equipment designs. 4.5.5 Government furnished inspection equipment.-Where the contract provides for Government furnished test eauiDment. a& supply and maintenance of test equipment shall be in accordance with the applicable requ

28、ditions.-Unless otherwise specified, the test conditions shall be in accordance with the “General Requirements“ of MIL-STD-810. 4.6.2 Output voltage and ripple.-Apply the voltage specified in 3.3.1.1, observe and measure the output voltage and ripple voltage present between pins “A“ and IiDql of con
29、nector 11728953. The output shall be as specified in 3.3.1.1. 4.6.3 Input current.-Apply the voltage specified in 3.3.1.1, observe and measure the input current. current shall be as specified in 3.3.1.2. The input 4.6.4 Environmental 4.6.4.1 Storage and operating temperatures.-The power supply shall
30、 be temperature tested in accordance with Test Method 501.1, Procedure I and Test Method 502.1, Procedure I of MIL-STD-810 except, the power supply shall be exposed to the storage temperatures of + 160oF and -800F for a minimum of 5 hours. In addition, the following conditions shall also apply: a. D
31、uring thermal stabilization at -4OOF and +125OF operational temperatures, the power supply shall be energized and subjected to the tests of 4.6.2 and 4.6.3. 32、nform to the requirements of 3.3.2.1 and 3.3.2.2. 4.6.4.2 Vibration.-With the power supply firmly mounted to the vibration table, perform the following: a. Test in acordance with Method 514.2, Procedure VI11 of MIL-STD-810 for category (f) equipment, (Tracked Vehicles), except the vibratory conditio
33、ns of 3.3.2.3 shall apply b. Sweep the frequency from 5 to 500 Hz and back to 5 Hz in a period of 15 minutes. the three mutually perpendicular axes. Perform two sweeps in each of c. 38、 Submission of designs for approval.-Contractor designs shall be approved by the Government prior to fabricating or procuring the equipment. Partial submission of inspection equipment designs is permissible and encouraged. However, the completion date for design review will be based on the date of .
39、 the final submission of designs and the required delivery schedule as stipulated in the contract. Submit designs as required to Commander, US Army Armament Research and Development Command, ATTN: DRDAR-QAF-I, Dover, N.J. 07801. When the contractor submits inspection equipment designs to,. the Gover
40、nment for approval he shall give the following information in his letter of transmittal: a. The contr-act number. b. The contract item (name, model number, etc.) c. The designs remaining to be submitted and the expected date of submittal. 6.4 Drawings.-Drawings listed in Section 2 of this specificat
41、ion under the heading US Army Armament Research and Development Command (ARRADCOM) may also include drawings prepared by, and identified as Edgewood Arsenal, Frankford Arsenal, Rock Island Arsenal or Picatinny Arsenal drawings. Technical data originally prepared by these activities is now under the cognizance of ARRADCOM.
