2、 the Army and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense. PAGE 3 3.3.3, second line, delete “insulation resistance shall be less than 25 megohms” and replace with “insulati on resistance shall be greater than 25 megohms”. PAGE 4 3.4.4.1, insert the following af

3、ter “(Charging Instructions)”: “(Preferred charging method) (Alternate charging method)” PAGE 6 Add as new paragraph: “3.5.4 Cell leakage . Individual cells used in the batteries shall be free of electrolyte leakage indicated by presence of liquid, or white or brown deposits or the smell of ether at

The seals between cell terminals and cell covers shall be so constructed th at the batteries assembled from these cells shall be capable of meeting the electrical leakage requirements and the cycle life requirements on the applicable specification sheet.” AMS

The battery shall then be discharged and meet the overcharge test of the applicable specification sheet. The battery shall be examined to insure compliance w

Cycle 1 Charge per 4.7.1, discharge as specified on the applicable specification sheet to the discharge specified by the final v

11、oltage specified on the applicable specification sheet.” 4.7.6b delete first sentence and replace with: “b. Cycles 2 - 26 Charge at C/2 or higher for 2 hours per 4.7.1.2, disch arge at the rate specified on the applicable specification sheet for a minimum of 100% of initial discharge capacity and sh
