The webbing shall be dried after finishing with sufficient tension to conform to the elongation requirements specified in table I. 3.6.2 Nonfi
24、brous materials. The starch and protein content including chlorofom-soluble and water-soluble material of the webbing, prior to finishing, shall not exceed 5.5 percent when tested as specified in 4.4.3. and the water repellent shall consist of aluminum salts of saturated carboxylic acid (such as for
25、mate, acetate, palitate, or stearate) zirconium salts of such saturated carboxylic acids, or a combination of both mixed with refined mineral and vegetable waxes, titanate esters, or a combination of both. The product shall be applied either in the fom of an aqueous emulsion or in the form of a wate
26、r-free solvent solution. the treated material shall be no mre than 40 percent when tested as specified in 4.4.3. 3.6.3 Water repellency. 33、h roll of webbing shall have an identi- fication ticket attached to the roll in accordance with MIL-P-43334. 3.9 Fiber identification. Each roll of webbing shall be labeled or ticketed for fiber content in accordance with the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act. 3.10 Worlananship. The finished
34、 webbing shall: conform to the quality and grade of product established by this specification and the occurrence of defects shall not exceed the applicable acceptable quality levels. 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order,
35、 the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements (examinations and tests) as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the perform- ance of the inspection req
36、uirements specified herein, unless otherwise disapproved by the Government. The Govemnt reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in this specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to ensure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Responsib
37、ilitv for compliance. All items shall met all require- mnts of sections 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification shall beccm a part of the contractors overall inspection system or quality program. shall not relieve the contractor of the responsibility of ensuring that all products or
38、supplies sutmitted to the Government for acceptance canply with all requirements of the contract. Sampling inspection, as part of manufacturing operations, is an acceptable practice to ascertain conformance to requirements, huwever, this does not authorize sutmission of known defective material, eit
39、her indicated or actual, nor does it camnit the Government to accept defective material. When certificates of compliance are submitted, the Government reserves the right to inspect such items to determine the validity of the certification. 4.2 Classification of inspections. The

When a first article is required (see 3.1 and 6.2), it shall be examined for the defects specified in 4.4.2.1 through 4

Unless otherwise specified, sampling for inspection shall be performed in accordance with MIL-STD-105. 4.4.1 Cormxnent and material inspection.
