2、. 1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION 1.1 Scope. This specification covers new straight sided, cylindrical- stel drums of 16 gallon, 30 gallon, and 120 pound grease capacities. 1.2 Classification. 1.2.1 Tvpes. The drums covered by this specification shall be of the following types, as specified (see table I

It is encouraged that recycled material be used when practical as long as it meets the requirements of this specification. 3.1.1 Steel sheet and strip, fitti

Steel sheet and strip, fittings, and seaming compound shall be in accordance with the requirements of 49 CFR 178, Subpart L or ANSI MH2 Standard. tolerances shall be in accordance with the applicable MH2 Standard.
