The designer will clear

40、ly distinguish on the drawings, such as on door, window, and louver schedules, which components are to be forced entry resistant.*Components covered in this specification are designed to resist forced entry attacks with increasing severity levels of hand, power, and thermal tools and weapons and exp

41、losives. The components include forced entry resistant personnel door/frame assemblies louvers windows glazing for doors pass-through drawers prefabricated guardhouses. Each type of forced entry resistant component shall be a complete assembly produced by a single manufacturer. Movable and operable

42、components shall operate smoothly and freely. Items for exterior installation shall be designed to resist water and vapor penetration or entrapment. Submit manufacturers descriptive data, installation instructions, and certificate and test report showing compliance with the specified forced entry te

43、st standard as specified in paragraph COMPONENT TEST REQUIREMENTS for all components. Following approval of manufacturers descriptive data, submit a schedule listing the items and components to be furnished. Manufacturers certificate shall be submitted indicating that compliance with the installatio

44、n instructions and drawings will provide the specified degree of forced entry resistance.1.3 SUBMITTALS*NOTE: Review submittal description (SD) definitions in Section 01 33 00 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES and edit the following list to reflect only the submittals required for the project. Submittals should

Some submittals are already marked with a “G”. Only delete an existing “G” if the submittal item is not complex and can be reviewed through the Contractors Quality Control system. Only add a “G” if the submittal is sufficiently important or complex in context of the project. For submittals requiring Government approval on A
