Vertical surfaces, where permitted or required by these specifications, are included.1.3.2 Rock JointsRock joints are all planar and/or curvilinear fractures, including cracks, crevices, and seams which separate a rock mass into individual rock blocks of various sizes. They may be open or

31、 closed and may be filled with material other than rock material.1.4 SUBMITTALS*NOTE: Review submittal description (SD) definitions in Section 01 33 00 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES and edit the following list to reflect only the submittals required for the project. Submittals should be kept to the minimum r

32、equired for adequate quality control.A “G” following a submittal item indicates that the submittal requires Government approval. Some submittals are already marked with a “G”. Only delete an existing “G” if the submittal item is not complex and can be reviewed through the Contractors Quality Control
