9、the test piece shall be suitable for its thickness and for the test equipment used. 6.2.2.5 Test piece preparation The longer edges of test pieces shall be rounded and smoothed longitudinally such that there are no transverse burrs, scratches or marks which may adversely influence the test. The use

10、of a shearing machine or flame cutting affects the structure of the metal along the cut edge. Metal thus affected shall be removed from such damaged edges by longitudinal milling, planing, grinding or other method which does not use large forces or overheat the material. 6.3 Testing procedure 6.3.1

11、Temperature of test The test shall be carried out at 10 “C I 8s 35 “C, unless otherwise specified. In case of dispute, the test shall be performed at O= 23 “C f 5 “C. 6.3.2 Method of test 6.3.2.1 The test piece shall be placed on the supports (Annex A - Figure AI), V-block (Annex A - Figure A2), blo

12、ck of soft material (Annex A - Figure A3) or in a clamp (Annex A - Figure A4) and bend in the middle between the supports by the action of a continuously acting force. The bending force shall be applied slowly to permit free plastic flow of the material. A specified angle of bend shall normally be r

13、egarded as a minimum. A specified internal radius of bend shall normally be regarded as a maximum. Bending to a specified angle or internal bend radius 6.3.2.2 Bending to parallelism The test piece may first be bent as stated in 6.3.2.1 or by bending around a mandrel (Annex A - Figure A4) and then p

14、laced between the parallel plates of a press (Annex C - Figure Cl). A continually increasing force shall then be applied to obtain parallelism with or without an insert (Annex C - Figure C2). The thickness of the insert shall be stated in the technical or material standard or be agreed between the m

15、anufacturer or supplier and purchaser or user. 6.3.3.3 Bending to contact The test piece, bent as stated in 6.3.2.2, may be further bent to obtain direct contact (Annex C - Figure C3). 6.3.3.4 Reverse bending The test piece shall be bent in a device shown in Annex A (Figure A5). The number of revers

16、e bends shall be counted as shown in Annex A (Figure A6). To ensure continual contact between the test piece and the supports during the test, some form of constraint is applied. 17、ge 7 prEN 2002-6: 2000 6.4 Expression of results 6.4.1 Acceptance criteria Test pieces bent to the angle or internal bend radius specified in the technical or material standard, drawing or order shall exhibit no visible cracks at a nominal 10 times magnification. Acceptance criteria may be otherwise

18、 specified by agreement between the manufacturer or supplier and purchaser or user. 6.4.2 Non-compliance with acceptance criteria Reference shall be made to the relevant technical standard, drawing or order. Otherwise the purchaser or user and manufacturer or supplier shall agree on the action to be

19、 taken. 7 Test report All results shall be in written form and the test report shall include, when relevant, at least the following information: - reference to this test method; - any other information relevant to the test method(s), (e.g. test condition, test equipment, test procedure, verification

20、, .); - identification and traceability of the semi-finished product to be tested in accordance with the technical specification; - identification and traceability of test samples taken from the semi-finished product (e.g. location, orientation, size): - identification and traceability of test piece

21、s taken from test samples (e.g. number, preparation, method, condition); In certain cases the test piece may be the test sample: - expression of results (e.9. individual values or mean values, units, .): - recorded plotdgraphs, when necessary; - date of test; - traceability to individual performing

22、the test work; - any incident which may have affected the results; - any deviation from the test method standard.
