9、urance, and conditions for qual ification, acceptance and del ivery of the rod ends with self-aligning ball bearings designed to withstand (under load) small oscilla- tions and slow rotations only. This Standard appl es to al I rod ends with self-al igning bal I bearings, i.e,EN 2492 and . EN 3541 .

The manufacturer shall obtain qualification for each type of rod end and for all the dimensions indicated In the Standards referred to in Section 2. 6 Acceptance conditions 6.1 The manufactureris

35、responsibility See EN 2000 6.2 Inspections and tests to be carried out by +he manufacturer The acceptance of a del v,ery batch chal I be in accordance with Table 4 except that the sample plan may be varied with the approval of the customer or authority responsible for acceptance. 6.3 Customer qualit

36、y control The customer may, on acceptance of a delivery batch, proceed to inspect it by using the inspections specified in Table 4, in full or in part, to ensure that the items conform to the required quality levei, and to determine whether the consignment is acceptable. This inspection can be carri

37、ed out in the customers factory, or, by special agreement, in the manufacturers factory. 7 Packaging The rod ends shall be packaged indlvidually and in such a way that they will not be damaged during transportation. They shall be protected against moisture, corrosion, dlrt and other harmful substanc
