It shall be used together with EN 2591. 2 References EN 2591 Aerospac
8、e series - Elements of electrical and optical connection - Test -methods - General 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 The specimens shall be crimped with a tool as defined by the technical specification and wired : - for 50 % with conductors having the maximum section allowed by contact, - for 50 % with
9、 conductors having the minimum section allowed by contact. The length of the wire shall be as appropriate for the tensile tester used. 3.2 Unless indicated in the technical specification, the following details shall be specified : - minimum and maximum sections of conductor for each contact size, -

The load shall be applied at a uniform speed of 25 mm/min to 50 mm/min along the contact axis. The tensile force shall be increased until the conductor or the joint breaks. 4 Requirement While the minimum force is applied no slip or pull out of the wire shall be observed.
