6、 Scope This standard specifies the characteristics of plain hexagonal nuts in passivated heat resisting steel, with or without locking holes, the dimensions of which are in conformity with IS0 8279. 2 Field of application These nuts are intended for use in aircraft assemblies, subjected principally
