10、 applications. This standard applies to all rotary fasteners for structural and non structural applications. 18、e turnlock-type devices and associated supplementary parts, capable of being easily and quickly operated, with or without usage of tools for closing and opening, for fastening and release of parts such as covers, fairings, equipment, etc. 3.2 Lot (inspection lot) Supplementary to ISO 3534-2, for the

19、 purposes of this Standard, a lot (inspection lot) shall be defined as follows: A lot shall consist of finished parts of the same dimensions, made from the same material, produced in the same production run, heat treated and surface protected in the same manner and submitted for testing at the same

The operating torques shall be measured at room temperature and at limit temperatures ( 40 C and 100 C for the tightening torque and 55 C and 150 C for the locking torque) after 1 h of condit

31、ioning in a cold or heating chamber respectively. 32、tightening torque specified in the product standards. 5.4.7 Testing shall be performed using a suitable test fixture. X 4.4.8 Endurance The fastener system shall withstand 1 500 cycles of operation without failure of functional performance. 5.4.8 Testing shall be performed using a suitable test fixt

33、ure. The fasteners shall be subjected to the specified number of locking and un-locking cycles (from the fully opened to the fully closed position and return) and subsequently examined for wear. X 4.4.9 Vibration Locked fasteners shall not open nor be permanently deformed when subjected to a 30 min

34、vibration test. 5.4.9 Testing in accordance with NASM22978 X 4.5 Corrosion resistance Fasteners shall show no evidence of corrosion after corrosion testing. 5.5 The fasteners shall be subjected to the following testing: - 24 h salt spray test in accordance with EN ISO 9227 - 4 days condensed water i

35、n accordance with EN ISO 6270-2 - 2 days ambient environment (18 C to 28 C) in accordance with ISO 554. X 4.6 Permeability The permeability of fasteners ready for installation shall exceed the maximum value(s) specified for the material(s). 5.6 Permeability shall be measured using a measuring device

36、 in accordance with ASTM-A342. X 4.7 Resistance to fluids Fasteners with non-metallic component parts shall be resistant to the fluids corresponding to the prescribed material characteristics. 5.7 Non-metallic component parts shall be tested in accordance with ISO 1817 using the test fluids as presc

37、ribed. X 4.8 Pressure tightness 5.8 4.8.1 Nominal pressure Finished fasteners and/or receptacles shall withstand an atmospheric pressure of 0,35 bar for 2 min without leakage, if required by the product standard. 5.8.1 Testing shall be performed using suitable measuring devices. X 4.8.2 Proof pressu

38、re The proof pressure shall be 0,7 bar. 5.8.2 Testing shall be performed using suitable measuring devices. 39、asteners containing elastomeric component parts shall have a cycle life conforming to the type of material used. 5.9 Age control in accordance with EN 3445 X 4.10 Special requirements For special applications the flammability, toxicity, odour and outgassing conditions shall not be exceeded. 5.10 The

40、 behaviour of lubricants, paints and other materials shall be tested in accordance with NASA-STD-6001 or similar methods to be agreed between customer and manufacturer. X 4.11 Functionality Safe function of each possible combination of fastener studs with their appropriate receptacles shall be guara

41、nteed. 5.11 Testing shall be performed using suitable devices. 48、 7.1 Responsibilities of manufacturer See EN 9100. 7.2 Acceptance testing Inspections and tests to be carried out by the manufacturer for acceptance of a delivery batch shall be in accordance with Table 1 except that the sample plan may be varied with the approval of the customer or authority respon

49、sible for acceptance. 7.3 Customer quality control The customer may, on acceptance of a delivery batch, proceed to inspect it by using the inspections specified in Table 1, in full or in part, to ensure that the items conform to the required quality level and to determine whether the consignment is acceptable. This inspection shall be carried out in the customers factory
