、) which serve to check that all the requirements of this specification are met. For this, the user must request delivery of the test specimens protected by this process. If possible, these test specimens must be: 6,35 mm (1/4“) diameter for bolts, 4,8 mm diameter for rivets, dash number length equal
、 to or greater than twice the diameter for bolts, in compliance (except for protection) to American specifications (NAS, MS) if possible. The test specimens subjected to the qualification procedure are representative of a production process. Consequently, the user must be notified in writing of any
、future changes after the qualification concerning the composition of a deposit and the application method (process sheet, installation) and, if necessary, certain characteristics shall be checked in compliance with this specification. NOTE The user reserves the right to perform qualification tests o
、ther than those given in this specification to cover specific utilization conditions of items so protected. 5.2 Qualification of suppliers Independent from the process qualification tests, all suppliers shall be subjected to qualification tests (list in Annex D, sampling in Annex E) intended to prov
、e that they are capable of performing the protection process requested with the required quality. Orders can only be placed with qualified suppliers. 5.3 Batch acceptance at the suppliers Each batch of fasteners manufactured shall be subject to acceptance tests by the supplier before delivery (list
、in Annex D, sampling in Annex E). The results of these tests must be given on the acceptance report. NOTE A batch is defined as a set of fasteners of similar type, form and dimensions, protected at same time or protected consecutively, without opening of the machine vacuum chamber between two loads.
、 6 List of qualified processes Process qualification is declared when all requirements of Annex A are met. The list of processes qualified at present is given in Annex F. prEN 6118:20075 Annex A (normative) Qualification requirements Table A.1 Qualification requirements Requirements Test methods and
