The DIP generation includes any conversion of Content Information/ Preservation Description Information into the required data format and validates the converted data. This sub process shall be certified. The archive and the consumer shall define an agreement for

This can include other archives, as well

36、 as internal archive persons or system components. Typical roles of type “consumer“ may be Design Engineers, Suppliers, Manufactures, Customers, Regulatory Agencies or Quality. 8.2.3 Administrator Administrator is the role (organization or person), which is responsible for the management of the arch

37、ive and daily operation. The role performs actions such as access control, monitoring and error handling. The role is not directly involved in the archiving and retrieval processes. The role may not be responsible for the administration of further external tools like quality agents, the evolved TDM,

38、 CAx, PDM or Data Exchange applications. 8.3 Involved data: 8.3.1 Archival Information Package (AIP) The AIP consists of following main information objects: Content Information (archiving formatted and optional native formatted) Packaging Information Preservation Description Information (Validation

39、Properties, context information regarding the Content Information) Digital Signature Information prEN 9300-014:20069 The Content Information is a set of information that is of main interest and has all the qualities needed for permanent storage. Packaging information shall be that kind of informatio

Preservation Description Information is the kind of information which is necessary for adequate preservation of the Content Information and which can be categorized as Provenance, Reference, Fixity, and Context information

41、. Digital Signature Information is the information about authenticity (identify the signature-key-owner), data integrity and time stamp information. 8.3.2 Dissemination Information Package (DIP) The DIP consists of following main information objects: Content Information (this may include native form

42、at and archive format) Packaging Information The Information Package will be generated by the archive as an answer to a consumers request. The DIP may contain collections of AIPs. The AIP Content Information will be converted into the data format of the target system. 8.3.3 Access granted informatio

43、n Contains the verification of the requesters access rights. 8.3.4 Request Manually generated request from the Consumer, or from the Administrator, which can consist, for example, of partial or full part number or assembly knot information. The access request will be transferred to the archive front

The request must contain the account information, such as name and/or password of the current user. 8.3.5 Selection information Contains a list of selected documents for retrieval. 8.3.6 Copy of AIP Copy of stored AIP.
