The standard for floor-affixed carriers and supports is ASME A112.6.1M.This Standard complements ASME A112.6.1M. Some of the specifications and tests are similar and appropr

However, due to differences in assembly of these framing-affixed products from thefloor-affixed products, some criteria are different.The basis for this Standard was an Interim Guide Criteria document prepared by the International Association ofPlumbing and Mechani

38、hallbe made of materials that comply with the material re-quirements specified in ASME A112.6.1M.2.2 Waste FittingsWastefittingsshallbemadeofcastiron,bronze,plastic,or other materials suitable for the intended applicationsand comply with the requirements of this Standard.3 REQUIREMENTS3.1 General3.1
39、.1 Carriers. Carriers for off-the-floor plumbingfixtures shall consist of, at a minimum, the following:(a) the (plumbing) fixture supportASME A112.6.2-20171(b) meanstoaffixthesupporttothestructuralframingwall(c) fixture bolts and hardware on which the plumbingfixtureismountedandthatconnectdirectlyto
40、thesupport(d) means to adjust the elevation of the fixture todesired height3.1.2 FootSupports.Carriers may have members (i.e.,footsupports)designedtorestonthefloorinaconcealedlocation for anchoring and supporting purposes. Whenprovided, foot supports shall be capable of extendingdownward from the ca
41、rrier to contact the floor orother framing structure to provide added support.3.2 Combination Carriers for Water Closet andUrinalsIn addition to the components of a carrier defined inpara. 3.1.1, a combination carrier (see Figure 1) forwater closets and urinals shall include the following:(a) flushi
42、ng device(b) supply piping to fixture(c) waste fitting from the fixture piping to carry thewaste from the fixture into the waste line(d) gaskets and hardware necessary to connect allcomponents (e.g., inlet and outlet pipes)3.3 Carriers for Water Closets and UrinalsWhen provided(a) flush tanks shall

44、When provided, waste fittings shall have thefollowing:(a) watertight seal at their joints(b) means of withstanding the pressure specified inpara. 4.1.23.4.2 Waste fittings for(a) water closet carriers shall be capable of passing aball with a 54 mm (2.13 in.) diameter(b) urinalcarriersshallbecapableo

46、 REQUIREMENTS4.1 Waste Fittings4.1.1 Performance Requirements. The drainageenvelope parts of waste fittings shall show no signs ofleakage, cracking, or permanent deformation whentested in accordance with para. 4.1.2.4.1.2 TestMethod.Joints shall be made in accordancewith the manufacturers instructio
47、ns and subjected to airpressure of 35 kPa 4 kPa (5.0 psi 0.5 psi) for 1 min.4.2 Load TestSee Figure 2.4.2.1 Test Method. The carrier shall be affixed toframing members in accordance with the manufacturersinstallationinstructions,andtheplumbingfixtureshallbeassembled to the carrier. The elevation of
48、the top edge ofthe plumbing fixture at its outermost edge shall bemeasured and recorded. A load as specified in para.4.2.2 shall be applied to the center of the front edge ofthe fixture for 5 min. The load shall be applied using a76 mm (3 in.) diameter by 6 mm (0.25 in.) minimumthick, metal load-dis
49、tribution disk resting on a 13 mm(0.5 in.) thick sponge rubber or equivalent pad. Withthe load in place, the top edge elevation of the fixtureshall be measured and recorded. Ten minutes afterremoval of the load, the elevation shall be measuredand recorded again.4.2.2 Loads. Test loads shall be as follows:(a) 2225 N (500 lbf) for water closets and bidets(b) 1112 N (250 lbf) for lavatories and sinks(c) 222 N (50 lbf) for urinals4.2.3 Performance Requirements. The maximumdeflection, while the load is in place, shall not exceed6.3 mm (0.25 in.) and the residual deflecti
