These two tables also both show Level D load combinations as “Not requiredunless DPD is applicable.” Again, why would combinations for this

30、level be considered as not requiredunless there is a design pressure differential, and if DPD is applicable, what combination would be utilized?Discussion: The first question is based on review of the allowable stress criteria, and my confusionwith a Level A allowable stress being higher than a Leve

31、l C allowable stress.The second question is from the NRC based on a Design Certification submittal from AREVA forthe U.S. Evolutionary Power Reactor (EPR). The question is a formal Request for Additional Information(RAI) based on the NRC review of our criteria which has shown the same load combinati

32、on tables in oursubmittal.Reply: Yes. The load combinations and stress criteria in AA-4300 should be utilized.The CONAGT Committee recognizes this apparent inconsistency.
