3、chitectural, pressure vessel, and heat-resisting applications. The mechanical properties of thesesteels are customarily, but not necessarily, developed by asuitable heat treatment generally referred to as tempering.1.2 Steel products under this specification are available intwo grades:Grade Yield St

5、n. 25 mm.1.4 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conform

Heat Treatment5.1 The material shall be heat-treated by tempering to meetthe requirements of this specification. The tempering tempera-ture shall not exc

11、eed 1400F 760C.
