Because of the many variables and changing conditions that are characteristic ofcontinuous hot-dip coating lines, the weight mass of the coating is not always evenly divided between
27、the two surfaces of a sheet, nor is the coating evenly distributedfrom edge to edge. However, it can normally be expected that not less than 40 % of the single-spot test limit will be found on either surface.A1046/A1046M 10a12is less than 0.008 %, report the analysis as either 0.008 % orthe actual d
28、etermined value.6.1.3 See Specification A924/A924M for chemical analysisprocedures and product analysis tolerances.6.2 Coating Bath CompositionThe bath metal used forzinc-aluminum-magnesium alloycoated sheet shall contain 5to 13 % aluminum, 2 to 4 % magnesium, up to 1 % totaladditional alloying elem
29、ents (except iron) and the balance zinc.7. Mechanical Properties7.1 Structural steel and high strength low alloy steel shallconform to the mechanical property requirements of Table 4for the grade or class or combination thereof, specified.7.2 The typical mechanical properties for CS (Types A, B,and
30、C), FS (Types A and B), DDS, EDDS steel sheetdesignations are listed in Table 5. These mechanical propertyvalues are non-mandatory. They are intended solely to providethe purchaser with as much information as possible to make aninformed decision on the steel to be specified. Values outsidethese rang
31、es are to be expected.7.3 When base metal mechanical properties are required, alltests shall be conducted in accordance with the methodsspecified in Specification A924/A924M.7.4 Bending Properties:7.4.1 Minimum Cold Bending RadiiStructural steel sheetis commonly fabricated by cold bending. There are
32、 manyinterrelated factors that affect the ability of a steel to cold formover a given radius under shop conditions. These factorsinclude: thickness, strength level, degree of restraint, relation-ship to rolling direction, chemistry and base metal microstruc-ture. Appendix X1 lists the suggested mini
