ASTM A1060 A1060M-2011e1 Standard Specification for Zinc-Coated (Galvanized) Steel Welded Wire Reinforcement Plain and Deformed for Concrete《混凝土用普通和变形镀锌(电镀)焊接钢丝增强标准规格》.pdf

1、Designation: A1060/A1060M 111Standard Specification forZinc-Coated (Galvanized) Steel Welded Wire Reinforcement,Plain and Deformed, for Concrete1This standard is issued under the fixed designation A1060/A1060M; the number immediately following the designation indicates theyear of original adoption o

2、r, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of lastreapproval. A superscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1NOTEThe table footnote in Table 1 was editorially added in April 2012.1. Scope*1.1 This s

3、pecification covers zinc-coated steel welded wirereinforcement, plain and deformed, or a combination of de-formed and plain wires, for reinforcement of concrete, in sizesnot less than 0.080 in. 2.03 mm and over nominal diameterfor plain wire and 0.113 in. 2.87 mm and over for deformedwire.1.2 This s

4、pecification is intended to be applicable to cold-worked wire, drawn or rolled, plain or deformed, coated in acontinuous process.1.3 An alternative to a continuous coating process of wirebefore fabrication is a hot-dip process, where the welded wirereinforcement is immersed in a bath of molten zinc.

5、NOTE 1Data on the corrosion resistance of galvanized steels inconcrete are limited. The user is cautioned that the laboratory testingperformed on this material has been insufficient and may not accuratelyreflect the performance of the material when embedded in concrete asreinforcement.1.4 The values

6、 stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1

7、.5 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use.2. Referenced Do

For each magnetic thickness measurement sample, f

A total of at least fifteen measurements shall beaveraged to obtain the coating thickness. For the microscopymethod, five samples shall be tested per lot. Each sample sha

Finish and Adherence of Coating7.1 The zinc coating shall have no bare

A matte gray finish appear-ance shall not be itself a cause for rejection.7.2 Adherence of CoatingThe coated wire a

Thebend test specimen shall withstand being bent at room tem-perature through 180 as prescribed in Table 2

However, if specified, the purchaser shallconduct the test which govern the acceptance or rejection of thematerials in his own laboratory or elsewhere.9.3 For Government Procurement OnlyExcept as other-wise specified in the contract

The purchaser shall have theright to perform any of the inspections and tests at the sameA1060/A1060M 1113frequency as set forth in this specification where such inspec-tions are deemed necessary to assure that material conforms toprescribed requirements.10.
