19、TE 1A typical ordering description is as follows: 5000 lb (2300kg), Angle, L4 3 4 312 in. (L100 3 100 3 13mm), laser fused, 20 ft (6m) in length, Type 304L, ASTM Specification AXXXX dated _.5. Materials and Manufacture5.1 Condition:5.1.1 Parent materials shall be in accordance to the require-ments o

20、f Specifications A240/A240M.5.1.2 Laser-fused section materials shall conform to therequirements of Specifications A276 or A479/A479M.5.1.3 Bars and shapes shall be in the as-fused condition.5.1.4 Fusion weld process shall comply with ISO 15614-11and ISO 15609-4 standards.5.1.5 The quality levels of

21、 welded joints shall be in accor-dance with ISO 13919-1 standard. If not otherwise specified,quality level B of ISO 13919-1 standard shall be met.5.1.6 The tensile strength of the fusion weldment conductedon coupons excised from the laser fused stainless steel plates,as shown in Fig. 1, shall meet o

22、r exceed those specified inSpecificationsA240/A240M,A276,orA479/A479M when anyof those materials are specified in the purchase order. Tensiletesting and specimen dimensions shall be in accordance withTest Methods A370.5.1.7 Bend tests in accordance with Article 14 of TestMethods A370 shall be conduc

23、ted for evaluating the ductilityof the fusion weldment. Test coupons shall be excised from thelaser fused stainless steel plates in accordance with Fig. 1. Theinside diameter for root bend test specimens shall meet thevalue(s) stipulated in the application specification, or thespecific requirements

24、of the purchase order. Root bend testsshall be conducted, removing any flash or melt-through at theroots of the weld, and shall be in accordance with either TestMethods E190 or E290, depending on the thickness of thematerial and the purchasers application. Lack of penetration orthe presence of crack

25、s, visible to persons with normal orcorrected vision, shall be cause for rejection of the weldments.6. Chemical Composition6.1 The steel shall conform to the requirements for chemicalcomposition specified in Table 1 of Specifications A240/A240M, A276 and A479/A479M.6.2 Methods and practices relating

27、nical Properties7.1 The product shall conform to the mechanical test re-quirements specified in Table 2 of Specifications A240/A240M, A276,orA479/A479M.8. Dimensions, Mass, and Permissible Variations8.1 The permitted variations in dimensions shall conform tothe requirements of Section 9 of Specifica

28、tion A484/A484M.9. Quality, Finish, and Appearance of the Laser-FusedProduct9.1 The product shall be of uniform quality consistent withgood manufacturing and inspection practices. Imperfections inthe product shall be of such a nature or degree for the type andquality ordered that they shall not adve

29、rsely affect the forming,machining, or fabrication of finished parts.10. Packaging, Marking, and Loading for Shipment10.1 Packaging, marking, and loading for shipment shall bein accordance with Practices A700.10.2 When specified in the contract or order and for directprocurement by or direct shipmen

30、t to the U.S. Government,marking for shipment, in addition to requirements specified inthe contract or order, shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129 for military agencies and with Federal Standard No. 123for civil agencies.11. 31、SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTSThe following standardized supplementary requirements are for use when desired by the purchaser.Those that are considered suitable for use with each material specification are listed in thespecification. Other tests may be performed by agreement between the supplier and the

32、 purchaser.These additional requirements shall apply only when specified in the order, in which event thespecified tests shall be made by the manufacturer or processor before shipment of the material.Charpy V-Notch Impact Test for Structural ShapesS1.1 Charpy V-notch impact tests shall be conducted

33、inaccordance with Specifications A673/A673M and Test Meth-ods A370.S1.2 The frequency of testing, the test temperature to beused, and the absorbed energy requirements shall be asspecified on the order. Unless otherwise specified in thepurchase order, the minimum average absorbed energy for eachtest

34、shall be 20 ft 3 lbf 27 J and the test temperature shall be70F 20C.Drop-Weight Test (for Material 0.625 in. 16 mm andOver in Thickness)S2.1 Drop-weight tests shall be made in accordance withTest Method E208. The specimens shall represent the materialin the final condition of heat treatment. Agreemen

35、t shall bereached between the purchaser and the manufacturer or pro-cessor as to the number of pieces to be tested and whether amaximum nil-ductility transition (NDT) temperature is man-datory or if the test results are for information only.Intergranular Corrosion TestS3.1 For shapes fabricated from

36、 austenitic stainless steels,tests for the presence of undesirable precipitate phases orsusceptibility of the weld joint to intergranular corrosion shallbe made by cutting and fabricating coupons obtained from thewelded test pieces, and exposing them to one or more of thepractice reagents described

37、in Practices A262. The purchasershall prescribe which particular practice(s) shall be followed inthe purchase order.S3.2 For shapes fabricated from duplex austenitic/ferriticstainless steels, tests for the presence of undesirable phases inthe weld joint shall be made by cutting and fabricating coupo

38、nsobtained from the welded test pieces, and testing them per therequirements of Test Methods A923. The purchaser shallprescribe which particular test method(s) shall be followed inthe purchase order.S3.3 The producer shall provide a report of the test resultsfor certification and acceptance of the w
