All burrs at the ends of pipe shallbe removed.14.1.1 Unless otherwise specified, pipe with beveled endsshall meet the requirements of ANSI B 16.25.14.2 Unless otherwise specified, the outside circumferenceof pipe ends for a distance of not less than 4 in. (100

46、mm) shallnot vary more than 660 % of the nominal wall thickness of thepipe from the nominal outside circumference based on thediameter specified, except that the tolerance shall not be lessthan 6316 in. (5 mm).14.3 By agreement between the manufacturer and the pur-chaser the ends of the pipe may be

47、sized within agreed-upontolerances if necessary to meet the requirements of specialinstallations.15. Finish15.1 Repair by WeldingThe welding of injurious defectsin the pipe wall, provided their depth does not exceed one thirdthe specified wall thickness, will be permitted. Defects in thewelds, such
