Product Analysis10.1 Product analysis may be required for the cladding alloyon the finished product. Chemical analysis may be accom-plished by wet chemical or

If wetchemical procedures are used, millings may be taken onlywhen the composite plate thickness is sufficient to permitobtaining millings without danger of contamination from theadjacent layer. If spectrometric procedures are used, the sampleshall be exposed on the center

47、 specimen. For wetchemical analysis, in order to avoid contamination by the baseplate metal, millings of cladding samples shall be taken fromthe test coupon by removal and discard of all the base metalplate material, plus 40 % of the cladding thickness from thebonded side, not to exceed116 in. (1.6

48、mm). The material shallbe chemically cleaned and sufficient millings shall be taken torepresent the full cross-section of the remainder. If there isinsufficient cladding thickness available to spectrographicallyexpose on the center line of the cladding without contamina-tion, 50 % of the cladding sh
