Ordering Information3.1 The material furnished under this specification shall becrushed to the specified size, and mixed bef
4、ore packaging, sothat the quality in each package is uniform with the lot.3.2 The reported percentage of titanium as obtained bychemical analysis shall be used to determine the billing of thematerial to the purchaser.4. Chemical Composition4.1 The various grades shall conform to the requirements ast
5、o chemical composition prescribed in Tables 1-4.5. Chemical Analysis5.1 The chemical analysis of the material shall be made inaccordance with a procedure agreed upon between the manu-facturer and the purchaser.6. Sampling6.1 The material shall be sampled in accordance withPractices E 32.7. Inspectio
6、n7.1 The inspector representing the purchaser shall have freeentry, at all times while work on the contract of the purchaseris being performed, to all parts of the manufacturers worksthat concern the sampling, packaging, and shipping of materialordered. The manufacturer shall afford the inspector al
7、l rea-sonable facilities, without charge, to satisfy him that thematerial is being furnished in accordance with this specifica-tion.7.2 If the purchaser so elects, the material may be sampledby him at the destination, in which case at least 10 % of theshipment shall be sampled.8. Rejection8.1 Any cl
8、aims or rejections based on check analysis shallbe made to the manufacturer within 45 days from receipt ofmaterial by the purchaser.9. Packaging9.1 Ferrotitanium shall be packaged in sound containers insuch manner that none of the metal is lost in shipment.1This specification is under the jurisdicti
