General Requirements for Delivery3.1 Material furnished under this specification shall con-form to the requirements of the current edition of SpecificationA 6/A 6M, for the ordered material, unless a conflict exists inwhich case this specification shall prevail.4. Materials and Manufacture4.1 The
8、 steel shall be killed, and such shall be affirmed inthe test report by the inclusion of a statement of killed steel,avalue of 0.10 % or more for silicon content, or a value of0.015 % or more for total aluminum content.5. Chemical Composition5.1 Heat Analysis:5.1.1 The heat analysis shall conform to
9、 the requirementsprescribed in Table 1.5.1.2 In addition to the elements specified in Table 1, testreports shall include for information the chemical analysis forcopper, columbium, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and va-nadium. When the amount of copper, chromium, nickel,molybdenum, or silicon is less
10、 than 0.02 %, the analysis maybe reported as “0.02 %.” When the amount of columbium orvanadium is less than 0.008 %, the analysis may be reported as“0.008 %.”5.2 Product Analysis:5.2.1 The steel shall conform on product analysis to therequirements of Table 1, subject to the product analysistolerance
11、s in Specification A 6/A 6M.6. Tension Test6.1 The material as represented by the test specimen shallconform to the requirements as to the tensile propertiesprescribed in Table 2.7.
