29、ned on the finishedproduct.7.3 Analysis shall be made using the manufacturers stan-dard methods. In the event of disagreement as to the chemicalcomposition of the metal, methods of chemical analysis forreference purposes shall be determined by a mutually accept-able laboratory.7.4 Product AnalysisPr
30、oduct analysis is an analysis madeby the purchaser or the manufacturer for the purpose ofverifying the composition of the lot. The product analysistolerances reflect the variation between laboratories in themeasurement of chemical composition. The permissible varia-tion of the product analysis from
31、the specified range is asprescribed in Table 3.7.5 Number of TestsTwo random samples for each 4000lb 1800 kg or fraction thereof shall be analyzed for hydrogen,nitrogen, and oxygen.8. Mechanical Properties8.1 The material shall conform to the requirements pre-scribed in Table 2 for longitudinal room
32、-temperature mechani-cal properties. Transverse and elevated temperature propertiesshall be used to determine compliance only when specified inthe purchase order. When material is ordered in a conditionother than those given in Table 2, the specimens shall be heattreated as referenced in Table 2 pri
33、or to test.8.2 The yield strength shall be determined by the offset(0.2 %) method as prescribed in Test Methods E8.8.3 The tensile properties shall be determined using a strainrate of 0.003 to 0.007 in./in. mm/mm/min through the yieldstrength. After the yield strength has be exceeded, the crosshead
34、speed should be increased to approximately 0.05 in./in.mm/mm/min to failure.8.4 The tensile properties enumerated in this specificationshall be determined in accordance with Test Methods E8orE21.8.5 Number of TestsFor each lot, two random samples foreach 4000 lb 1800 kg or fraction thereof shall be
35、tested formechanical properties.9. Corrosion Properties9.1 Two samples chosen at random from each 4000 lb 1800kg or fraction thereof shall be corrosion tested in steam at750F 399C, 1500 psi 10.3 MPa for 72 h or 336 h at theoption of the manufacturer in accordance with Test MethodG 2/G 2M.9.2 Accepta
36、nce Criterion:9.2.1 Grades R60802 and R60804All coupons thus testedshall exhibit a continuous, black, lustrous oxide film and befree of white or brown corrosion product in excess of standardspreviously agreed upon between manufacturer and purchaser.Coupons shall exhibit a weight gain or not more tha
