Scope1.1 This specification2covers UNS N08120, UNS N08890,UNS N08800, UNS N08810, and UNS N08811* in the form ofrolled plate,

3、 sheet, and strip. Alloy UNS N08800 is normallyemployed in service temperatures up to and including 1100F(593C). Alloys UNS N08120, UNS N08810, UNS N08811,and UNS N08890 are normally employed in service tempera-tures above 1100F (593C) where resistance to creep andrupture is required, and they are a

4、nnealed to develop controlledgrain size for optimum properties in this temperature range.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. Materials and Manufacture6.1 Heat TreatmentThe final heat treatment of UNSN08120 shall be 2150F (1177C) minimum, UNS N08810,2050F (1121C) minimum, UNS N08811 and UNS N08890,210

Chemical Composition7.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Table 2.7.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations in Specification B906.8. Mechanical and Other Re

19、quirements8.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall conform tothe mechanical properties specified in Table 3.8.2 Grain SizeAnnealed Alloys UNS N08120, UNSN08810, UNS N08811, and UNS N08890 shall conform to anaverage grain size of ASTM No. 5 or coarser.8.3 Deep-Drawing and Spinning Quality Sheet an

20、d Strip(Alloy UNS N08800) Shall conform to the grain size andhardness requirements as provided in Table 4.8.3.1 The mechanical properties of Table 3 do not apply todeep drawing and spinning quality sheet and strip.8.4 Annealing TemperatureAlloy UNS N08120 shall beannealed at 2150F (1177C) minimum, a

Test Methods10.1 The chemical composition, mechanical, and otherproperties of the material as enumerated in this specificationshall be determined, in case of disagreement, in accordancewith the methods in Specification B906.10.2 The measurement of average grain size may be carriedout by the planimetric method, the comparison method, or theintercept method described in Specification B906. In case ofdispute, the “referee” method for determining average grainsize shall be the planimetric method.10.3 For purposes of d
