United States15. Materials and Manufacture5.1 Heat TreatmentThe product of UNS N08020 alloyshall
16、 be furnished in the stabilized-annealed condition. Theproduct of UNS N08026 alloy shall be furnished in thesolution-annealed condition. The product of UNS N08024alloy shall be furnished in the annealed condition.NOTE 2The recommended annealing temperatures all followed byquenching in water or rapid
17、ly cooling by other means are as follows: 1700to 1850F (927 to 1010C) for UNS N08020, 2050 to 2200F (1121 to1204C) for UNS N08026, and 1925 to 1975F (1052 to 1079C) for UNSN08024.6. Chemical Composition6.1 The material shall conform to the requirements as tochemical composition prescribed in Table 1
18、.6.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations prescribed in Specification B880.7. Condition7.1 Bars shall be furnished annealed and either hot finishedor cold finished. Strain-hardened material is available only
19、ascold finished.7.2 Wire will be furnished only as annealed and coldfinished.8. Mechanical Properties8.1 The material shall conform to the applicable require-ments as to mechanical properties prescribed in Table 2.9. Dimensions and Permissible Variations9.1 BarBars shall conform to the variations in
20、 dimensionsprescribed in Tables 3-11, inclusive, as applicable.9.2 WireWire shall conform to the permissible variationsin dimensions prescribed in Tables 12-16, inclusive, as appli-cable.10. Workmanship, Finish, and Appearance10.1 The product shall be uniform in quality and condition,smooth, commerc
21、ially straight or flat, and free of injuriousimperfections.11. Sampling11.1 Lot:11.1.1 A lot for chemical analysis shall consist of one heat.11.1.2 A lot for mechanical properties shall consist of allmaterial from the same heat, nominal diameter or thickness, ofeach heat-treatment charge.11.2 Test M
22、aterial Selection:11.2.1 Chemical AnalysisRepresentative samples shall betaken during pouring or subsequent processing.11.2.1.1 Check analysis shall be wholly the responsibility ofthe purchaser.11.2.2 Mechanical PropertiesSamples of the material toprovide test specimens shall be taken from such loca

28、2013)216. Rejection and Rehearing16.1 Material that fails to conform to the requirements ofthis specification may be rejected. Rejection should be reportedto the producer or supplier promptly and in writing. In case ofdissatisfaction with the results of the test, the producer orsupplier may make cla
29、im for a rehearing.17. Certification17.1 When specified in the purchase order or contract, aproducers or suppliers certification shall be furnished to thepurchaser that the material was manufactured, sampled, tested,and inspected in accordance with this specification and hasbeen found to meet the re
30、quirements. When specified in thepurchase order or contract, a report of the test results shall befurnished.18. Product Marking18.1 Each bundle or box shall be properly tagged with metaltags showing heat number, grade, condition, specificationnumber and size to assure proper identification.19. Packa
