General Requirements4.1 Material furnished under this specification shall con-form to the requirements of Specification B 906 unless other-wise provided herein. In the case of conflict, the requirementsof this specification shall take pre

7、cedence.5. Material and Manufacture5.1 Annealing TemperatureAlloy UNS N08330 shall beannealed at 1900F (1040C) minimum. Alloy UNS N08332shall be annealed at 2100F (1150C) minimum.6. Chemical Composition6.1 The material shall conform to the requirements as tochemical composition specified in Table 1.

Mechanical and Other Properties7.1 The tensile properties of the material at room tempera-ture shall conform to those shown in Table 2.7.2 Grain SizeAnnealed alloy UNS N08332 shall con-form to an average grain size of ASTM No. 5 or coarser. 15、.2 No. 2D FinishDull, cold-rolled finish.X1.2.3 No. 2B FinishBright, cold-rolled finish.X1.2.3.1 Bright-Annealed FinishA bright cold-rolled fin-ish retained by final annealing in a controlled atmospherefurnace.NOTE X1.1Explanation of Finish:No. 1Produced on hand sheet mills by hot rolling to specifi

16、edthicknesses followed by annealing and descaling. Generally used inindustrial applications, such as for heat or corrosion resistance, wheresmoothness and uniformity of finish is not of particular importance.No. 2DProduced on either hand sheet mills or continuous mills bycold rolling to the specifie

17、d thickness, annealing, and descaling. The dullfinish may result from the descaling or pickling operation or may bedeveloped by a final light cold-rolled pass on dull rolls. The dull finish isfavorable for the retention of lubricants on the surface in deep drawingoperations. This finish is generally

18、 used in forming deep drawn articleswhich may be polished after fabrication.No. 2BCommonly produced the same as No. 2D, except that theannealed and descaled sheet receives a final light cold-rolled pass onpolished rolls. This is a general purpose cold-rolled finish. It is commonlyused for all but ex

19、ceptionally difficult deep drawing application. Thisfinish is more readily polished than No. 1 or No. 2D finish.Bright-Annealed FinishA bright cold-rolled highly reflective finishretained by final annealing in a controlled atmosphere furnace. Thepurpose of the atmosphere is to prevent scaling or oxi

20、dation duringannealing. The atmosphere is usually comprised of either dry hydrogen ora mixture of dry hydrogen and dry nitrogen (sometimes known asdissociated ammonia).X1.3 StripThe various types of finish procurable oncold-rolled strip products shall be as follows:X1.3.1 No. 1 FinishCold-rolled to
